IFT 302 Web Application Development

  • Teacher: Admin Byto

Web Application Development

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to modern web application development, bridging the gap between front-end interfaces and back-end server logic.

Students will explore the principles of web design, comparing dynamic and static pages, and learn to develop interactive websites using open-source tools (Apache, PHP, Python, JavaScript, and MySQL).

Emphasising hands-on programming, the course covers control structures, object-oriented programming, data validation, database access, and the transition from core programming to framework-based development (e.g., PHP, ASP.NET).

Students will culminate their learning by designing, testing, and deploying a fully functional, database-driven web application.
